Fertility rates in Colorado show millennials aren’t having children at the rate older generations did. Even compared to other states, data show Colorado’s fertility rates have experienced notable declines in recent years.
The Denver Post would like to speak with Colorado residents in their 20s to early 30s who have chosen not to have children and find out what considerations and thoughts informed that decision. We would also like to speak to people in that same age bracket who made a conscious choice to have children and understand what considerations went into that, as well.
