
Christopher Watts, the Frederick man accused of killing his pregnant wife and two children, is expected to make an appearance in Weld County District Court on Tuesday.
A news release from the Weld County District Attorney’s Office stated that Watts, 33, is scheduled to attend a status hearing at 2 p.m. in Weld County District Court in Greeley.
The DA’s office did not release any further information and could not immediately be reached for comment Friday afternoon.
Watts is accused of killing his wife, Shanann Watts, 34, and daughters Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, and leaving their bodies at an oil and gas site in Weld County.
He is charged with five counts of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree unlawful termination of pregnancy and three counts of tampering with a deceased human body.
