Attention, fans of Vail Resorts’ mountains: If you haven’t bought your Epic pass, time is running out.

The deadline to purchase Epic season passes comes Sunday. Epic Passes cover Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Crested Butte, 13 out-of-state resorts and up to seven days at Telluride.

Epic’s main rival, the Ikon Pass, has a season pass deadline of Dec. 13. Ikon is good at 38 destinations, including Aspen Snowmass, Steamboat, Winter Park, Copper Mountain and Eldora.

There are other dates to keep in mind this week as seven more mountains open for the season, including Aspen, which moved its opening date up five days to Saturday. Also, Christy will have a demo day Saturday at Loveland, and the deadline to sign up for that at Front Range Christy stores is Thursday.

Here is a list of Colorado mountains that will be open this weekend: Arapahoe Basin, Aspen, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Eldora, Keystone, Loveland, Monarch, Purgatory, Vail, Winter Park and Wolf Creek.
