PUEBLO — Authorities say an unidentified man’s body has been found in a ditch east of Pueblo in southern Colorado.
The Pueblo County Sheriff’s office says the case is being treated as a suspicious death, but there were no obvious signs of trauma.
A witness on Saturday morning reported seeing what he believed to be a body in the Bessemer Ditch in eastern Pueblo County. A dive team was brought in to help recover the body.
Investigators were trying to identify the man. It’s unclear how long his body had been in the water.
