The former Broncos starting quarterback and first-round 2016 NFL draft pick worked out for the Dolphins on Wednesday morning, but according to
Lynch, 24, has been out of a job since he was waived by the Broncos on Sept. 2. In his four preseason games this year, he completed 28 of 44 pass attempts for two touchdowns and an interception and was heavily booed by fans at Broncos Stadium. He was also sacked four times.
He has played in five NFL games in two seasons since being selected No. 26 overall out of Memphis, completing 61.7 percent of his passes for four touchdowns and four interceptions with a career passer rating of 76.7.
The Dolphins have started former Broncos quarterback — and Lynch benchmate — in their last five games (2-3). With Miami, Osweiler has thrown for 1,247 yards, six touchdowns and four picks.
