A Denver man was hospitalized with a bullet wound to the leg after he was shot outside in a downtown Denver neighborhood, authorities say.

The name of the man has not been released. His injury is not life threatening, said Doug Schepman, Denver police spokesman.

Police were called around 1 a.m. about a shooting at South Sherman Street and East Bayaud Avenue, Schepman said.

No arrests have been made, he said.

“We’re still investigating the circumstances of the shooting,” Schepman said.
