A Denver man was hospitalized with a bullet wound to the leg after he was shot outside in a downtown Denver neighborhood, authorities say.
The name of the man has not been released. His injury is not life threatening, said Doug Schepman, Denver police spokesman.
Police were called around 1 a.m. about a shooting at South Sherman Street and East Bayaud Avenue, Schepman said.
Alert: Officers are investigating a shooting in the area of S Sherman/E Bayaud. Man treated at hospital for non-life threatening leg injury. No suspect(s) in custody and investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances.

No arrests have been made, he said.
“We’re still investigating the circumstances of the shooting,” Schepman said.
