If you’ve spent months searching the market for a low-maintenance ranch plan, this definitely isn’t the day to give up looking.
Oakwood Homes is staging a grand opening Saturday, Nov. 17, for its value-packed Bungalows Collection of ranch designs in age-55-plus Fairway Villas near DIA — and has four of those homes that could have you moved in by Christmas priced from just $410,672.
“We’re seeing surprisingly serious buyers now,” says Lee Ann Delis, who along with Charles Roberts will welcome you to Oakwood’s four models, each featuring mountain-themed holiday treats in their attractive kitchens, Saturday only.
In a market that Realtors see as having cooled off, Oakwood sold six of these Bungalows homes just over the past month, to buyers who didn’t see the decorated models you’ll visit this weekend.
You’ll be wowed by how much entertaining space Oakwood has designed into these — such as a Conifer plan with 2,704 square feet of finished space, including a chef’s kitchen, a very attractive master, and a guest bedroom suite in a finished lower level.
If you like its looks, Oakwood has a Designer Showcase Home of the Conifer including the guest bedroom. You could be moved in time to host the family on Dec. 24, for $421,629.
The Bungalows also include larger ranches with the same value on space and features, including an Aspen model you’ll tour: two bedrooms and two baths, plus a flex space, all on the main level. Nearby, Oakwood has two versions of the plan ready for holiday move-in, at $441,875 and $444,613.
All of those new plans are showcased on an “island” wrapped by the fairways of Green Valley Ranch Golf Club — very close to the private clubhouse with indoor/outdoor pools, where Fairway Villas residents enjoy a year-round calendar of events, assisted by a full-time concierge. Oakwood has a second club under construction now, adjacent to the newest homes.
These Bungalows are absolutely minimal maintenance, designed for compact sites where four homes share a courtyard drive, with landscape provided and maintained including snow removal, in exchange for a modest metro district assessment that also covers the clubhouse and other amenities.
You’ll see how close this is to the golf club, where Fairway Villas residents get preferred tee times and play a par-3 course free.
You’ll also hear about a “Rake in the Savings” promotion that Oakwood is running commensurate with the grand opening, with an additional $10,000 off the price of any home along with a reduced mortgage rate, if you use Oakwood’s lender to arrange financing.
All homes come with Oakwood’s energy-efficiency features, with an offer to guarantee your energy bills for the first two years of ownership.
Fairway Villas is east of Peña Blvd at E. 56th Ave. From Peña, take 56th east 1.5 mile (past Tower Road) to Ireland, turn south to Maxwell, and then left to the entry beside the golf course.
