Northglenn police continue to investigate a shooting that left a man with a gunshot wound in his chest early Saturday morning.

The unnamed man was transported about 12:49 a.m. Saturday to a hospital from the apartment complex in the 10500 block of Irma Drive in the town north of Thornton, according to a news release from the Northglenn Police Department. His condition was unknown late Saturday night.

Police continue to investigate the incident, according to the news release.
