A running, unattended vehicle was stolen Wednesday evening in Colorado Springs with an infant inside.
The incident happened about 6 p.m. in the 4000 block of Whittier Drive, according to police.

A man had left the vehicle running and went into his residence briefly. When he returned the vehicle and the infant were gone. About 12 minutes later, police found the vehicle about a half-mile from where it was stolen.
The infant was unharmed. The vehicle thief is at large.
