CU police are asking people to stay away from the Cristol Chemistry and Biochemistry building as a hazardous material team cleans up a small chemical spill that sent one person to the hospital.
Police announced on Twitter that shortly before 5 p.m. a small chemical spill was reported at the building, which has since been evacuated.
One person was taken to the hospital, but police have not released any information on the extent of the person’s injuries.
No details have been released about which chemical, or how much of it, was spilled.
