The 3000 block of South Clayton Street is closed following a water-main break Thursday afternoon, Denver Police tweeted.
Denver Water shut off water to the area as crews work to try and mend the 12-inch cast iron line, Todd Hartman, a Denver Water Spokesman, said. No residents are without water.
Police urge people to avoid the area in the Wellshire Neighborhood.
