A Salvation Army bell ringer, who allegedly stole money from his Fort Collins kettle, has been arrested.

The incident happened on Nov. 30 at a King Soopers, 2602 S. Timberline Road, according to police.

Police on Thursday arrested 27-year-old Nicholas Rosselis-Freeman as a suspect in the case. Rosselis-Freeman was booked into the Larimer County Jail on a misdemeanor theft charge.

The suspect faces a misdemeanor charge because the value was less than $750, according to a news release.
