No injuries were reported after firefighters took control of a structure fire in an RV park near 5524 Federal Blvd. on Monday morning, Adams County Fire Rescue officials said.
The fire sent smoke into the air and initially caused the full closure of Federal Boulevard between West 52nd Avenue and Interstate 76. All southbound lanes and the left lane of the northbound side of Federal have reopened while fire crews continue to work in the area, according to CDOT’s .
Both Westminster Fire Department and Adams County Fire Rescue responded to the fire, Sandy Danne, a spokeswoman for Adams County Fire Rescue, said.
The cause is not known at the time and it does not currently pose any threats to people, officials said.
