One family received a big Christmas surprise courtesy of Oklahoma City Thunder’s Andre Roberson.

The former Colorado Buffaloes star met a woman named Shirley and her grandchildren at a Target holiday shopping spree benefiting a group helping grandparents who are raising their grandchildren.

“I was just touched by her kids and her family overall. I got wind that she was trying to adopt them for a while, but they just need a little assistance,” Roberson said in a video released by the Thunder.

So prior to Oklahoma City’s game against Minnesota on Sunday, the former Colorado Buffaloes star donated $7,500 to Shirley, which will allow her to cover the costs to adopt the kids.
