A 17-year-old girl has died following a serious crash on Interstate 70 on Wednesday night, Colorado State Patrol confirmed.
Details about the victim and crash were limited as of 10 p.m., according to Colorado State Patrol spokesman Gary Cutler.

The single-vehicle crash happened shortly after 6 p.m. around mile marker 149, Cutler said. The vehicle went from the westbound lanes to the eastbound lanes.
I-70 eastbound was closed at mile marker 147 near Eagle as officials investigate the incident. Officials suggested Highway 6 as an alternate route.
The road was reopened just after midnight, according to a tweet from Colorado State Patrol.
