Game of the week
Indianapolis at Tennessee
Flexed into prime-time because of the stakes: The winner clinches a playoff spot, period. Uncertainty at the Titans’ quarterback spot has made the Colts a three-point road favorite. But it doesn’t matter who plays (Marcus Mariota or Blaine Gabbert), Indianapolis is the better team and will go from 4-12 to the postseason.
Colts 27, Titans 21
Lock of the week
Miami at Buffalo
The forecast in Orchard Park, N.Y., on Sunday: A high of 29 degrees. Advantage to the Bills (minus-3 1/2), who will want to show up for their home fans and finish with six wins. Disadvantage to the Dolphins, who were 7-6 and in AFC playoff contention after their miracle win over New England but have since lost to Minnesota (41-17) and Jacksonville (17-7).
Bills 35, Dolphins 13
Upset of the week
Atlanta at Tampa Bay
There are five double-digit favorites in Week 17 so we had to dig into the odds to find a reasonable upset pick. Enter the Falcons, who are a one-point underdog against the Buccaneers. Atlanta is sprinting to the finish line (two consecutive wins after a five-game losing skid). Expect Tampa Bay (5-10) to make a coaching change Monday.
Falcons 47, Buccaneers 40
