A man knocked an octogenarian to the ground Monday, stealing the woman’s purse, according to Wheat Ridge police.
The incident happened at about 1:15 p.m. on West 44th Avenue near the intersection of Harlan Street.

Police describe the robber as a black man in his 20s, about 5-foot-7, with a thin build. He was wearing a black-and-white Oakland Raiders jacket with green pants.
