Blue skies and temperatures in the 50s will return to Denver this week after a storm dumped multiple inches of snow on the metro area on Friday and Saturday.
Temperatures on Sunday could reach a high of 39 degrees but will rise into the low 50s through Thursday, . The average high according to the weather service.
A slight chance of snow returns to the forecast on Friday, when temperatures are expected to drop.
However, that snow total is unlikely to bring the inches of snow that were dumped across the region on Friday and Saturday. Denver received between 2 and 3 inches of snow while areas like Aurora and Centennial received as much as 7 inches of snow. About 8 inches fell in the mountains around Breckenridge.
