The Denver Pioneers hockey team was set to take on Colorado College in another Gold Pan Series game. However, due to winter weather and road conditions, DU was not able to make it to the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs.
Colorado College made an announcement on social media the game was postponed and would be made up in February or March. , the Pios bus was stuck on Highway 93 and hadn’t moved for 90 minutes due to a jack-knifed semitruck.
Also, make sure to hold onto your tickets as they will be honored for the makeup game later this season.
Game 2 of the Gold Pan series that was scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday at DU’s Magness Arena will go on as scheduled.
