Aurora police arrested four juveniles after an armed carjacking and pursuit early Sunday morning, police said.

According to a statement from police spokeswoman Crystal McCoy, a person was carjacked at gunpoint at 12:08 a.m. at a 7-Eleven, 595 S. Havana St.

Officers then found the vehicle at 1:45 a.m. at East Florida Avenue and South Chambers Road and began to chase the vehicle.

Police said the stolen vehicle then crashed into another vehicle at East Iliff Avenue and South Havana Street, and four people under the age of 18 fled on foot.

The suspects were found and apprehended by police. The four were arrested and transported to a local hospital for the treatment of minor injuries, according to police.

McCoy said the suspects’ names can’t be released because they are juveniles, but that they are all facing multiple charges, including motor vehicle theft and eluding.
