Police on puffer patrol in Arvada arrested two juveniles, who were allegedly armed, on suspicion of car theft among other possible charges.
The incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the 6800 block of Xavier Circle, according to a news release.
Police checking for puffers — vehicles running unattended — spotted a running car and determined it was stolen from another jurisdiction.
When the juveniles, two males, were taken into custody, one was armed and a second gun was found in the vehicle, police said.
Police said they suspect the pair of multiple robberies in the metro area.
The suspects, who are being held at a juvenile facility, are facing multiple charges, according to the release.
