When it was announced Saturday that UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker had to pull out of the UFC 234 main event due to an injury, Colorado’s own Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone took to against Kevin Gastelum with just hours to prepare: “Well I’m in Australia @danawhite ‘I know a guy!!'”

The UFC chose to pass on his offer. Cerrone had his moment at UFC 234, however, taking part in the — drinking beer out of a shoe.
