A large number of Aurora police officers are chased a fugitive near the intersection of East Radcliff Place and South Eagle Circle before finally taking that person into custody, the department said in a series of tweets.
Residents were asked to shelter in place for approximately three hours while the police tried to arrest the fugitive.
At about 8:15 p.m. police said that “the fugitive is in custody” and that the shelter in place order was lifted.
The fugitive is in custody. We are lifting the Shelter in Place. Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this event.
