Two aircraft had rough landings Wednesday afternoon at Centennial Airport in Englewood.
The first incident happened at about 2:50 p.m. when the nose gear on a twin-engine Cessna 320 collapsed on landing, according to airport officials. Two people on board were not injured, and there was no fire. A runway was closed by the mishap.

At about 3:40 p.m. a second small-aircraft incident happened at the public airport owned by the Arapahoe County Public Airport Authority. A single-engine Piper Comanche, with two people on board, landed in a grassy area adjacent to a runway.
There were no injuries, or fire, in the second incident, according to South Metro Fire Rescue. The two parallel runways are closed as part of an ongoing investigation. The 1,400-acre airport has three asphalt runways, according to its website.
