6-year-old girl injured in 40-foot fall from Eldora chairlift

Girl taken to Boulder Community Health to be treated for pelvic, leg injuries

A 6-year-old Boulder girl fell about 40 feet from Eldora’s Sundance Ski Lift around 1 p.m. Sunday, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.

The Eldora Ski Patrol found the girl conscious and breathing, and she was taken to the ski resort’s first aid room and then to Boulder Community Health’s Foothills Hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.

She’s being treated for possible pelvic and leg injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.

Resort management and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate.
