Hundreds of opponents and supporters of Colorado Senate Bill 19-181 descended on the Capitol to make their opinions on the proposed legislation heard Tuesday, March 5, 2019, in Denver. Currently under consideration by the state’s Senate Transportation and Energy Committee, the proposed legislation would overhaul Colorado’s regulation of the oil and gas industry.

This was the first hearing on the legislation held by the committee, with 395 people signed up for public commentary.
