Arapahoe Basin Ski Area announced on its social media channels Wednesday afternoon that was closing at 2 p.m.
In its announcement, the ski area cited “deteriorating snow and avalanche conditions along Highway 6” as its reason for closing all operations Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier in the day on Wednesday, at 10:41 a.m., A-Basin closed its Montezuma Bowl terrain and Beavers terrain due to weather. A-Basin also closed uphill access Wednesday morning.
