Denver police, Adams County investigate death at waste and recycling center

Police said on Sunday that the man had no obvious signs of injury, but cause and manner of death are pending

Denver police are investigating a man’s death whose body was found at a waste and recycling facility Saturday.

Police said on Twitter at about 11:45 a.m. Saturday that a person’s body was located in the 600 block of West 53rd Place. The Denver Police Department is conducting the investigation in collaboration with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Police did not disclose the name of the waste and recycling center.

On Sunday, Denver police said on Twitter that the body is that of an adult white man, and that there are no obvious signs of injury.

However, the official cause and manner of death are pending until the Office of the Medical Examiner completes its autopsy.
