A woman who died in a fire, in an abandoned home in Greeley, has been identified.
Dottie Jean Kauffman, 52, of Denver, on March 9 was pulled from a burning house in the 2000 block of Fifth Avenue, according to the Weld County Coroner’s Office. Kauffman was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Kauffman was identified Tuesday in a coroner’s office news release.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, as does the cause and manner of Kauffman’s death.
