Suspect in custody after fatal shooting in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood

Denver police have arrested a man on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with a Thursday night shooting that left one man dead in northeast Denver.

The homicide occurred at 11:35 p.m Thursday in the 3200 block of North Hudson Street in the Park Hill neighborhood, police spokesman Jay Casillas said in an email. One adult male was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

Aundre Moore, 38, is being held for investigation of first-degree murder, Casillas said.

The victim has not yet been identified. The Denver Medical Examiner’s office will release the victim’s name, and cause and manner of death.
