Colorado Speaker of the House KC Becker found humor in what she’s calling a hacker’s stunt.
The Boulder Democrat — co-sponsor of the bill that would overhaul Colorado’s regulation of the oil and gas industry — wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning that someone managed to hack her website so that visitors saw a page for the Viagra-brand erectile-dysfunction medication.
“Whoever hacked my website and had it forwarded to #Viagra, thatap actually pretty funny,” KC Becker wrote on Twitter. “As if there isn’t enough excitement at #coleg already.”
“Our endurance in fighting the good fight as #Democrats is well-documented but thanks for the suggestion. #COpolitics,” she wrote.
Becker’s personal website, , currently displays a generic GoDaddy domain-registration page.
One person replying to her on Twitter suggested the hack should be expected from an “industry proven to be lying to cover up their deadly operations.”
“Has to be a male with erection problems that hacked it,” the tweet says.
