A new shop aiming to satisfy a customer’s sweet tooth and sense of fun will open next month in east Loveland.

Peace, Love and Little Donuts, the second Colorado franchise location for the Pittsburgh-based business, is taking shape at 3525 Mountain Lion Drive, in the building housing Inta Juice and Chris Lane Salon Spa.

Robert Wagner opened his first Peace, Love and Little Donuts shop at 632 S. College Ave. in May 2017 with his wife, Lindsey Wagner. He said they are hoping for a mid-April opening for the Loveland location.

The Wagners, Colorado natives, were living in the East for a while and ran across the original Peace, Love and Little Donuts shop in Pittsburgh in 2016, Robert Wagner said. They were smitten.

“From the moment you stepped in, it was not just about buying a doughnut,” he said. “It was experiencing how a doughnut is made, seeing the toppings put on in front of you. … It was a doughnut that tasted fresh, smelled fresh, felt warm in your hand as you ate it.”
