If you were expecting to brave the long lines at a Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles office Monday morning to get a new license, permit or ID card, change plans.

Colorado driver license offices cannot issue the cards in its offices because of camera issues, according to a news release from the Colorado Department of Revenue.

DMV spokeswoman Sarah Werner said the DMV camera vendor is working on an update to get the cameras back up and officials hope to have them running again by 10:30 a.m.

Residents can still access online services at mydmv.colorado.gov, including driver license renewal, accessing driving records or paying citations, among other services.

The Department of Revenue said it will post any updates to colorado.gov/dmv as well as on its social media platforms at facebook.com/coloradorevenue and on Twitter at @CO_Revenue.
