A woman’s body was discovered Wednesday afternoon in the area of Interstate 70 and Wadsworth Boulevard, police said.

Police received a call about the incident at about 3:05 p.m., said Det. David Snelling, a department spokesman.
Investigators remained on the scene at about 7 p.m., Snelling said. No roads were closed as part of the incident.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of the woman’s death. She was not identified Wednesday.
