A person was shot in northwest Denver on Wednesday night and police said the incident is not life threatening.

The shooting happened in the 2600 block of West 32nd Avenue, police said. One person was taken to a local hospital.
West 32nd Avenue is closed between Clay and Zuni streets because of the incident. Police did not release information on a suspect.
