A rockslide Monday morning on westbound Interstate 70 west of Vail led to a temporary road closure.

Both westbound lanes were closed at mile marker 172 as crews worked to remove rocks from the roadway, Colorado Department of Transportation spokeswoman Breanna Rogers said.

The closure lasted about an hour and a half, and crews reopened the road shortly before 12:30 p.m.

CDOT has not reported any injuries or damaged vehicles.
