Two horses escaped the old town road and ran onto E-470 Monday morning in Denver.
The horses have been captured and are waiting to be taken home. But they cause traffic to back up as they ran loose on the highway near 6th Avenue, to the confusion of drivers.
As if this day can’t get any weirder..traffic on E470 near 6th Avenue is backed up due to two horses being on the highway. What is going on with today?!!!

Footage of the horses running through the highway was taken by Justin Adams, a sports reporter for CBS Denver. According to a passerby Adams interviewed, the horses live near East 6th Avenue and E-470, but their owner is away in Mexico. How they escaped onto the highway is not clear.
