The body of a missing female was recovered Saturday morning after she went missing in a personal watercraft accident Thursday at Jackson Lake State Park, according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Four people were riding a Jet Ski on the Fourth of July — two with personal flotation devices, two without — when the craft tipped over.
Park officials initiated a search for the missing woman immediately, and continued looking until midnight. The search continued from 5 a.m. to midnight the next day and included sonar, dive teams and underwater equipment. Her remains were found early Saturday.

Assisting in the search were the Wiggins Rural Fire Protection District, Platte Valley Fire Protection Disctirct, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and the county ambulance service.

The female’s name and age were not released. Her remains have been turned over to the county coroner for identification and cause of death.
