Days after he was named to the Major League Lacrosse all-star game, Outlaws midfielder Zach Currier added another highlight to his season.
With two seconds remaining and the score tied at 17-apiece with the Atlanta Blaze, Currier scored the game-winning goal Thursday at Broncos Stadium at Mile High to give Denver its fifth straight victory.
The win puts the defending champions’ record at 6-1 on the season.
Rookie attackman Chris Aslanian led Denver with five points, and attackman Ryan Lee added four.
