Republicans and Conservatives gathered for the Western Conservative Summit in Denver Colorado. Speakers included Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson, chairman and president for Americans for America John Andrews, and US Senator Cory Gardner.
Colorado Governor Jared Polis was the first elected Democrat to address the Western Conservative Summit in the annual gathering’s 10-year history. He was greeted with applause, and several members of the audience gave him a standing ovation. A few booed.Trump Jr. spoke Friday night and urged conservatives in Denver on Friday night to continue fighting in the face of what he called social media censorship, press bias and a Democratic Party rife with radicalism.
