A shooting Saturday night in Brighton left two people with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Brighton police responded to the incident in the area of Sandpiper Lane and Bromley Lane around 8:30 p.m. Police shut down the road and surrounding area as they investigated.
They also issued a reverse 911 call for nearby residents to shelter in place, the police department said on Twitter. The order was lifted before 11 p.m.
Circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been released and police did not immediately return a request for comment.
Two people were transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries, the agency said on Twitter.
