One week into his major league career, Bo Bichette looks like a chip off the old block.
The 21-year-old Toronto Blue Jays shortstop — the son of Rockies great Dante Bichette — has a seven-game hit streak in his first seven days with the big club, with two home runs and five doubles.
In fact, Bichette has hit a double in each of his last five games, in addition to three RBIs and four runs scored. His current slash line going into Monday: .406/.429/.750.
Not bad for a week’s work.
