One person was shot Tuesday night at a King Soopers store in Castle Rock, police say.

The victim, described by police as a 25-year-old Hispanic man, was taken to a local hospital. Further details on injuries were not available. “No known threat to the community exists,” police said on Twitter.

The shooting happened at 750 N. Ridge Road, according to police.

A police that an altercation occurred at the King Soopers gas station before the man was shot in the access road behind the gas station.

Denver7 said Tuesday night that police were looking for three suspects in connection with the shooting: A white male and two Hispanic men, all in their mid-20s and all wearing white uniforms. The suspects are believed to be driving an early 2000s maroon Chevrolet Suburban SUV.

Ridge Road was closed from the shopping center to Enderud Boulevard. Drivers were asked to avoid the area if possible.
