The has been cooking around the country for seven years, but 2020 will be the first year it will make a stop in Denver. The roving national food festival dedicated to eating and exalting American cuisine will finally feed the Mile High City May 14-16, as .
Other cities earning stops next year are the usual suspects of San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles, as well as the unusual suspects of Kansas City, Phoenix, Louisville and the Twin Cities, among others.
The three-day event will kick off with the Raising the Bar tasting, where diners will eat and drink the handiwork of local and national chefs and mixologists. (Location and handiworkers to be determined.)
Next up will be a fancy gala dinner prepared by Colorado chefs and a “Taste America Visiting All-Star” at the Ritz-Carlton. The weekend will wind down with a cooking demonstration from a local chef.

Denver has been getting more attention from the food world of late, what with in 2017, holding its major festival here for the past three summers and some big wins for local chefs and restaurants at the annual James Beard Awards.
