Three Colorado high school athletes on Wednesday were among the 88 players named to U.S. Lacrosse’s inaugural USA Select teams.
Valor Christian senior attacker Ian Acheson will play on the boys U17 team. Midfielder Jacob Pacheco, a freshman at Valor Christian, is on the boys U15 squad. And Columbine goaltender Betty Nelson was named to the girls U15 team.
The four USA Select teams will compete against Canadian teams from Oct. 18-20 during the Fall Classic at U.S. Lacrosse.
