Game of the week
New Orleans (plus 2 1/2) at L.A. Rams
A rematch from last year’s NFC title game when a non-call on the Rams, which would have likely sent the Saints to the Super Bowl, resulted in rule changes this year making pass interference reviewable. This time, the Rams take advantage of New Orleans playing on a short week and making long trip.
Rams 34, Saints 28
Lock of the week
Pittsburgh (minus 4) vs. Seattle
Itap hard to look more non-competitive than the Steelers did last week, getting their doors blown off by New England 33-3. Seattle, meanwhile, was outgained 429-232 by Cincinnati … and won. The Steelers avoid their first 0-2 start in six years.
Steelers 27, Seahawks 21
Upset of the week
Indianapolis (plus 3) at Tennessee
Can there be a must win in Week 2? Heck, yeah. The Colts (0-1) don’t want to fall two games behind the Titans and possibly Houston (which hosts the Jaguars). Indy leans on running back Marlon Mack (25 carries, 174 yards last week) to post the division road win.
Colts 20, Titans 14
