Denver residents have until Oct. 10 to digitally weigh in on the city’s proposed 2020 housing policy and spending priorities.
The Denver Economic Development & Opportunity office last week released a draft version of the city’s 2020 Housing Action Plan. It is available online in both and at .
Those interested in providing input on the plan are asked to fill out an online survey accessible through the city site.
The 61-page document was created under the guidance of the city’s five-year housing plan adopted in 2018, with input from the city’s , according to a news release. The plan shows the city has more than $30.6 million available for housing next year. Of that, the largest chunk — $12.9 million — would be dedicated to addressing homelessness.
The housing advisory committee will consider final changes to the plan later this fall.
