Centaurus handed Widefield a loss in a 26-14 showdown.
Paul Young led Widefield’s aerial attack with 81 yards through the air. Young also added 116 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Kaleb Maska lead all Widefield receivers with four receptions for 40 yards and one score.
In addition to Young’s effort, Jerrod Adams lead the Widefield ground attack by racking up 19 yards in the contest.
In their next games, Centaurus will play host to Wheat Ridge, while Widefield will travel to play Mesa Ridge.
