Rocky Mountain coughed up a 14-point lead at half time, losing by a score of 28-21 on Thursday, Sept. 19.
Giles Pooler led Rocky Mountain’s passing attack with 136 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Pooler’s favorite receiver in the game was Holden Lefke, who caught three passes for 61 yards. Peter Krohn got in on the action in the passing game as well, grabbing four passes for 56 yards and two touchdowns. Rocky Mountain also got 52 yards receiving from Noah Yancey in the contest.
Sean Kidd lead all Rocky Mountain rushers with 26 yards and one touchdown in the game.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Mountain Vista heading to play Legacy and Rocky Mountain taking on Valor Christian.
