Valor Christian came back from a 11-point deficit to win by a score of 24-14 on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Cole Bott led Valor Christian’s passing attack with 89 yards through the air. Bott’s favorite target in the game was Kaiden Keefe, who caught two passes for 20 yards.

Valor Christian’s ground game was lead by Gavin Sawchuk who racked up 178 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 8.5 yards per carry. Jack Howell added 138 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 9.9 yards per carry.

Gavin Herberg led Pine Creek’s passing attack with 128 yards through the air. Pine Creek’s leading receiver was Eddie Kyle, who caught five passes for 75 yards.

Pine Creek’s rushing game was spearheaded by David “DM3” Moore III who racked up 187 yards in the contest, averaging 9.8 yards per carry.

Valor Christian will play host to Rocky Mountain, while Pine Creek will travel to play Pueblo West.
